First of all I am a lover of Jesus Christ. I have been a Christian for almost 30 years now and a licensed minister for almost 25 years which is more than half my life. The Christian life is a journey that you start on with a destination of becoming more like Jesus every day. Sometimes the journey is relatively an easy road, but at other times it is more challenging. Whether on the mountain top in our life, in the valley or somewhere in between God is wanting us to draw near to Him, depend on Him, be more like Him each day. He is with us on this journey, we are not alone. His word is to be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. It is a path made for us by our Heavenly Father. It is similar to the paths of others yet uniquely layed out for us. We are unique and therefore God has a uniquely layed out plan for our lives. My heart and passion is that we would be Christians that walk in all the fullness of God daily. My prayer is that we would not settle for a little touch from God at our church each Sunday and hope it gets us to the next Sunday, but that we would fully embrace God in our lives day by day. That His presence would be so real in our lives that it would impact those around us right where we live. Signs and wonders would be seen in His people regularly. Jesus said we would do greater works, because He was going to the Father and that the Holy Spirit has come. The world needs to see the true Jesus through His Church, His Body, His people. Are we up for that kind of journey? I think it is the most exciting way to truly live! My heart through this blog is to stir up Gods people to live Between the Sundays on fire, seeing God actively at work in their homes, neighbourhoods, communities, the places they work, and everywhere they go so that the world will truely see Jesus through us.
